Easy Thanksgiving Gifts

This one is so easy and cute. We are moving next week and since its Thanks Giving we wanted to thank those that have impacted our lives while we were stationed in CA. We didn't have a whole lot of money so this is what I came up with.

Supplies:
Everything can be found at the Dollar tree but some things might be cheaper at Walmart. For me, the glass jars where the Dollar Store, the Rolos where are a dollar for a small bag but it only filled up one jar so it cost me $2 to fill up 1 Jar and at Walmart I could buy a bigger bag for about $2.30 and I could fill up 2 jars. So Walmart won on the Rolos. The construction paper could come from the Dollar Tree because you don't need a ton. I like the ribbon at Walmart better and it was actually less than $1. I bought two different colored ribbons; the darker color should be smaller than the bright color.

Putting together:
Print what you want the note to say on construction paper. My paper was really thin so I folded it a couple of times and taped it and that gave me the sickness that I wanted. Then you punch a hole on this side of the tag. (I did not want a big hole so I did not use a hole puncher but it took longer.) Now measure your string to the size you want it. Make sure there's enough to tie the bow and make it look long and pretty. Cut one, test it and then use that to measure and cut the rest at the same time so you don't have to keep guessing the length. Take the string and put it in the back of the tag to the front so it lays correctly on the jar. Tie the strings on your jar and then move the tag directly under the bow as in the picture. I wrote to its from on the back of the tags but you can print that if you would like. Now fill the jars with your candy choice and you have beautiful thank you gifts for those you love.

Notes:
I chose Rolo's because they are a bright candy wrapper and makes the gift pop.
If you would like to do these for another holiday like Christmas or Mother's Day just change what's on the tag to fit the holiday and change the color of the ribbon.

Enjoy :)
